Our training programs typically include simulated altitude training techniques. Take advantage of this special opportunity to experience it live.
The Advantages of high-altitude breathwork training can provide firsthand insight into the impact of altitude on breathing and endurance, which can be valuable when designing training programs. It offers techniques for adapting to lower oxygen levels and optimizing athletic and cognitive abilities in high-altitude environments. The training covers nasal breathing, breath control, and specific protocols to enhance performance at high altitudes
Safety Precautions when teaching high-altitude training, is our top priority. We take precautions to ensure the well-being of the participants which include proper acclimatization, monitoring for signs of altitude sickness, and providing access to supplemental oxygen, if needed. Additionally, we will have emergency plans in place and communicate the importance of staying hydrated and maintaining appropriate nutrition. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for everyone participating in high-altitude training.

Arrival to Ouray with a 4x4 Vehicle
An off-road ready, high clearance 4WD vehicle is required to climb the pass to Mount Hayden Lodge which is located at Lat 37.9568, Long -107.7205. Once you are confirmed we can provide directions/maps​.
Need Transportation to the Lodge
If you do not have a 4x4 vehicle, we can provide transportation from the town of Ouray, up to the lodge for $65/each way. The trail is also hikeable as another means of getting there.
